Jacqueline is an contemporary Australian painter living on the Bass Coast of Victoria. Her art is a response to place—shaped by the rugged coastline, changing skies, and quiet rhythms of the natural world that surrounds her.
Influenced by the vivid colours and emotional intensity of Fauvism and Expressionism, Jacqueline’s approach to landscape is instinctive and energetic. She embraces bold, often unexpected palettes and loose, gestural brushwork to convey not just what the land looks like, but how it feels to be within it.
Her practice is grounded in appreciation for nature —sunlight on tree trunks, the push of wind through grass, the stillness of sunrise. Each canvas becomes a visual meditation, inviting viewers to connect with the landscape on a sensory and emotional level.
Jacqueline’s work continues to evolve as she explores the intersection of memory, place, and expression in paint. Her paintings are derived from site sketches and memory working in acrylic, inks and mixed media.
Over the last 15 years she has held open studios, held 6 Solo shows and exhibited paintings of Australian themes and landscapes .

Join me for my next major solo show' VITAMIN SEA' -Wild about the coast January 1-28 2026 at Stockyard Gallery in Foster. New works on canvas feature coastal dunes and landscapes of the Bass Coast & South Gippsland. Joining the space for a fabulous installation of her luminous Jellyfish sculptures is Ryanston local Dinah Goebel.
